Why does Eric mix God and politics?
Simple answer: Even if i live to be 100 on this earth, i am an eternal being and will be somewhere
else for the rest of eternity, and i need to know what my options are.
For now, we Americans live under the US Constitution.
The US Constitution is a lifejacket for some, and a strait jacket for others,
even though many people from other countries would love to live in its confines.
But, when we die, the US Constitution loses its power over us, and the next thing happens.
The US Constitution cannot shield us from eternity -
or from the expectations of the New Testament, written by the will of God.

Is Jesus God?
Who is God and is God know-able?
The basis of the Christian faith is that Jesus is God, part of the Holy Trinity,
proven by his resurrection from the dead after a very public,
very unfair trial and cruel execution by crucifixion, with a Roman soldier piercing his side with a spear, which let out stratified fluid from his heart, showing his death.
New Testament, 1 Corinthians 15:
1 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you,
which you received and on which you have taken your stand.
2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you.
Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance,
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.
6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,
8 and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
Did Jesus rise from the dead, proving His Diety?
Proof of an empty tomb? Yes, this is a valid reason to believe that Jesus is God.

Age of Consent
When we talk about God, understand the concept of 'Age of Consent'.
While there is a severe penalty for adults who reject God,
children are exempt from such requirements -
until they reach the age that they can decide about God for themselves.
In insolated parts of the world, without the Gospel message being available
adults are judged by listening to their consciences, spoken of in Romans 2: 12-16.
But be assured, God does not expect more from children - than they are capable of.
