VETERANS SUICIDE
Veteran Suicide
1) I've read that we lose about 22 veterans to suicide each day.
2) Data tells us that fatherless youth - are the youth most likely to commit suicide.
3) This leads me to suspect that fatherless kids that reach adulthood are the adults
most likely commit suicide, eh?
So, we should be able to use these three points to assess the veteran suicide tragedy
and suspect that veterans who grew up fatherless - are the veterans most likely to commit suicide.
Doubt me?
Then prove me wrong:
Select any group of chronological-period of 1,000 veteran suicides -
to see how many of them grew up without their biodad.
And I mean biodad. Not stepdad or adopted dad...biodad.
Do that 3 times, with random groups.
Tell me what the numbers say.
If childhood-fatherlessness does not have a direct influence on veteran suicide, I might shut up.
And what if I am correct?
This info would give us a starting point to help them.
I've read that sometimes, suicide is anger turned-inward.
If so, could Anger Management Classes reduce veteran suicides?
I have a website,
FatherlessMale.com
written for adult men who grew up fatherless.
988 is the Suicide Hotline for both the US and Canada military.
