I used to be confused when the children of rich and famous people advocated for socialism, but no more.
The Reiner Event showed me how a child raised in abundance and luxury can begin to advocate for socialism. This is a short lesson.
Simply put, as these children approach adulthood, and claim the right to make choices as legal adults, it seeps into their brains that their parents also have the right to choose, and one of the things they can choose to do - is to quit supporting their adult children.
After all, what keeps these pro-abortion parents from also being financial isolationists?
These kids have spent their childhoods watching their parents ignore the poor folks around them.
As they can abort an unborn child, parents can evict adult children from their financial womb and ignore their children's poverty.
So, unless the child is willing and able to achieve the same success as the parent,
as adults, they begin to realize they will eventually experience a financial downgrade.
Their level of future affluence will depend mostly on themselves.
These young adults often go to college at this time and are fed socialism by professors with socialist leanings.
This is my perspective on 'spoiled kids of the rich' becoming socialists.
But 'spoiled rich kids' is actually a mislabel - there are few independently wealthy minors.
Their parents can instantly withdraw support - and do it overnight -
putting their children in the same income group as minority french fry-clerks at a burger joint.
(I have seen so many adult children cut out of the will when the father married a new woman
and erased his bio-kids from his life and from his will.)

Do an internet search on 'celebrities that cut their kids out of their wills.'
It's shameful.
